Adopting is admitting that the tie that units you will not be a blood tie. Reaching out to another is the fruit of a journey against the fear of the unknown that some parents may have to undertake when facing this project.

Adoption establishes parentage thus enabling to the adopted one to become an heir of the adopting one, and it furthermore allows you to fiscally benefit from the rate provided for by law with respect to transfers in direct kinship between ascendant and descendant.

Nonetheless, adoption is to be handled with caution because, even though the tax advantage to pass on your estate is indisputable, you must not neglect the importance of such decision that creates real rights and duties on each part.

There are two types of adoption: simple and full. The simple adoption procedure is more commonly used in the case of blended families or for estate-related reasons.
